Small Eclectic Spaces

Growing up I always thought there was something amazing about large palatial spaces. I always felt that there was something magical about tall walls, elegant French windows with beautiful drapes. Obviously with exploding number of people and great land constrains in today’s world has challenged my dream of owning a large place. Well the day I realized this, honestly I knew I had to make the most of the space I already have. After all there is no option than to adapt to survive. So well after reading a lot articles, surfing the net and actually talking to a few interior designers themselves I figured there are mainly 2 important steps to the process.

  • Use EVERY space wisely
  • Less is more

As easy as this may sound, tips like these are often hard to implement so here are a few cheats to fight the battle of space constrain to give your tiny space an eclectic and chic look 😉

1.Try to keep your walls light in colour. A statement wall could be done in a medium shade though.

5. Place your curtain rod as close to ceiling. This will make the room look taller in appearance.

6. Make spaces multi-functional. Try building your spiral library like this one right above your desk as some décor.
